THE TEACHERS
EMMA ALLIN
PRINCIPLE & TEACHER
Emma is the founder and principle of Fortitude Danceworks and a passionate dancer/teacher for over 30 years.
"My dancing career began at a local dance school where I progressed onto becoming a teaching assistant for various classes and different age groups, when performing myself I was honoured to be a part of the IDTA nationwide finals in blackpool, received many medals from competitions, reached high grades in various examinations from Ballet-Freestyle, performed in shows around Europe and worked abroad as a children's rep and part of the animation team.
I went on to study Dance at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama in Nottingham and gained my teacher qualification from the International Dance Teachers' Association where I was awarded a distinction.
Opening my own dance school has always been a dream of mine, Fortitude Danceworks is where myself and the teachers can share our love for dance with so many others”.
