DANCE PRINCIPLE
EMMA ALLIN
I am Emma the principle of Fortitude Dance and a passionate dancer of over 30 years.
I began my dancing career at a local dance school where I progressed onto becoming a teaching assistant for various classes and different age groups. I also worked as a children's rep abroad as part of the animation team performances.
I went on to study Dance at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama in Nottingham. I gained my qualification as a Teacher of dancing from the International Dance Teachers' Association where I was awarded a distinction.
Opening my own dance studio has always been a dream and I am excited to share Fortitude Danceworks and my love for dance with so many others.
FORTITUDE DANCEWORKS
Fortitude comes from the latin word 'Fortis' meaning strong, and that is exactly what the school stands for. Powerful, uplifting and having a strong bond.
Fortitude Danceworks is a local Nottinghamshire Dance school that provides various styles of dancing and drama from the ages of 3 years old to Adults.
We participate in dance shows at different locations, our very own school show each year, exams and competitions.
The school teaches a multiple of styles from Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Commercial, Drama, Tap and Freestyle disco.
I am so proud of the 'family feel' that the school has, which constantly makes it feel like a very special place to be.
